As a Learning Center Director at Huntington Learning Center, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while developing your leadership, communication, and business skills. You'll lead the day-to-day operation of the center, work directly with students and families, coach and support instructors, and make sure every student receives a program designed around their individual needs.

What You'll Do:
Lead student programming:
- Review student performance and progress toward academic goals.
- Ensure each student's program is aligned with their individual learning needs.
- Monitor student engagement and make instructional adjustments when needed.
- Work directly with students and provide tutoring support when needed.
Partner with families:
- Meet regularly with parents to discuss student progress, goals, and recommendations.
- Help families understand their child's academic needs and the steps that can support continued growth.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with families based on trust and results.
Lead and support instructors:
- Supervise and coach part-time instructors to help them succeed.
- Help teachers deliver high-quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment.
Run the learning center:
- Oversee daily center operations, including scheduling, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and productive center environment.
- Take ownership of center performance and the student and family experience.
Build community relationships:
- Develop relationships with local schools, teachers, and community organizations.
- Help increase awareness of Huntington's programs and the results we achieve for our students.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3+ years of experience in education, tutoring, customer service, management, or a related field.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A genuine desire to help students succeed.
- Confidence working with parents and discussing student needs and appropriate program recommendations.
- A positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Schedule:
- Part-time — up to 35 hours per week.
- Flexible hours Monday–Thursday, between 12:00 - 8:00 p.m., Fridays 2-7 p.m., with occasional Saturday support between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
